The production of the second and third season of the TV anime “Classroom of the Elite” has been decided. The 2nd season will be broadcast from July 2022, and the 3rd season will be broadcast in 2023

Classroom of the Elite Season 3 Light Novel – Where To Start?
“Classroom of the Elite” anime is a based on a Japanese light novel written by Shōgo Kinugasa and illustrated by Shunsaku Tomose. Serialization of the series began in Media Factory’s MF Bunko J imprint from May 2015 to September 2019. A continuation of the light novel series called “Classroom of the Elite: Year 2” started publishing in January 2020. As of September 2022, the first-year light novel has got 11 volumes and 3 short story (4.5, 7.5, and 11.5) collections. The 2nd year light novel is still ongoing and has currently got 7 volumes and 1 short story collection.
It appears that the second season’s finale, Classroom of the Elite Season 2 Episode 13, reached a stopping point in light novel Volume 7. So, if any of you wants to start reading the light novel instead of waiting for season 3, you can start from light novel volume 8 of year 1.
