Fans of the popular anime series Masamune-kun’s Revenge can rejoice as the release date for the highly anticipated second season has been announced. According to an official statement released by the series’ website, episode 1 of Masamune-kun’s Revenge Season 2 will air on TOKYO MX, BS Fuji, AT-X, Sun TV, and KBS Kyoto from Monday, July 3rd.
The second season, titled Masamune-kun’s Revenge R, will be produced by studio SILVER LINK, and follows the story of Masamune Makabe, a young man seeking revenge on his childhood friend, Aki Adagaki, who once humiliated him in front of his peers. The show, which is based on the manga series of the same name by Hazuki Takeoka and Tiv, first premiered in January 2017 and quickly became a fan favorite.

Today, alongside the release of a new key visual featuring the characters who will be active in the second season, a short commercial was also released, confirming the premiere date for July 3.
