‘More than a Married Couple, but Not Lovers’ also known as ‘Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman’, is a seinen anime adapted on Yuuki Kanamaru’s Japanese manga bearing the same name. The first season of the anime first aired in October 2022. Since the first season aired, anime fans have showered their love upon the series despite getting some critics. The show is based on the story of a 3rd-year high school boy Jirou Yakuin, who was already in love at the earliest of the show with his childhood pal and classmate Shiori with whom he wants to get paired up for the upcoming ‘Marriage Practical’ where boys and girls are selected randomly to be paired with the opposite sex. But as a twist of fate Jirou gets paired with Akari Watanabe, a classmate of Jirou who happens to have a crush on Minami Tenjin.
As if that was not enough shock, both of their crushes Shiori and Minami got paired up as a couple for the activity. Now Jirou and Akari enter the competition determined to get the highest point, as the top ten couples will be given chances to change their partners if both couples are in an agreement to change. Since there is no official release date for second season of the anime till now, fans are eager to know what happens next after the conclusion of season one.
The first season was based on the first 27 chapters, so we suggest fans to start from chapter 28 to ponder the question of what happens next in Jirou and Akari’s life. Meanwhile, there is no upcoming event or official reveal for More than a married couple, but not lovers.
