Additionally, in the 2020 AnimeJapan poll for manga that readers most wanted to see adapted into an anime, it ranked second. On May 16, 2023, Dan Ichikawa took to Twitter to express gratitude to the fans and announce that the TV animation adaptation of “My New Boss is Goofy” has been confirmed. Alongside the announcement, an official website was launched, revealing a teaser PV, teaser visual, main cast, and staff members. The series will be animated by Studio A-1. To commemorate this exciting news, the author has also released a new celebratory illustration.
