So the fall anime season of 2022 is almost near the end. There’s now only one week left from this season which means that next week we will be saying goodbye to a lot of our beloved ongoing anime. And one of them is obviously chainsaw man.

The first season of chainsaw man is going to have 12 episodes in total. Episode 11 is releasing today and the final episode of season 1, episode 12 will be released next week on the 27th of December.

Chainsaw Man Season 2 Manga: Is There Enough Source Material?
Now many of you are probably wondering if there will be a 2nd season of this anime? Is there enough source material or not? The good news is that the manga of chainsaw man is still ongoing and currently has 12 volumes. The anime has been adapting around 3 chapters in each episode and the first season will most likely end adapting volume 5 of the manga.
So there’s enough source material available for season 2. Based on the popularity of the anime and how it is boosting the sales of the manga, it is obvious that there will be a 2nd season of chainsaw man anime at one point. But the main question is, how long will we have to wait for it? For now, we don’t have the answer. There has been no official announcement for a new season yet.
There were a few rumours at the beginning of this year where it was being said that chainsaw man first season would be split into 2 cores, but due to some production issue they had to change their plan and turned it into a single-core season. We don’t really know if that’s actually true or not. But if they really wanted to make the first season into 2 cores, we would have gotten an official confirmation by now. So we don’t think there will be any 2nd core to this season. Instead, we will just have to wait for season 2. Also, always keep in mind that there is always a possibility of getting a movie before the next season.
Chainsaw Man Season 2 Announcement Next Week?
There is a high possibility of getting some new information on Chainsaw Man season 2 next week after the premier of the final episode. If we don’t get any updates there, then we will have to wait a little longer. There should be some events coming for chainsaw man at the beginning of next year where they might reveal some new information on the next season.
