On February 23, 2022, MangaMoguraRE posted on their official Twitter page that the light novel of the series had reached 180k circulations. However, we did not receive any further updates on its feats for the next 13 months. The light novel sales and circulation do not look very promising. On the other hand, the anime adaptation did quite well, as it stood first breaking through the charts of the top 10 anime of Winter 2023. It has a solid rating of 7.7/10 on MyAnimeList and 4.7/5 on Crunchyroll. As for the source material, there is just enough material left for the sequel to adapt. The anime has a total of 12 episodes in the debut season, covering the first three volumes out of a total of six volumes. The light novel is still ongoing.
