Call of the Night Season 2: Will It Happen?

The final episode of Call of the Night has been aired and the first season is now over. While most of the anime from Summer 2022 slate did not live up to the mark, there were few returning anime which were able to meet the exception. But one of the best series which dominated Summer 2022 was newcomer Call of the Night, produced by Liden Films. So, it is no surprise that fans are already demanding renewal of a new season right away. Call of the Night is adapted from the manga of same name written by Kotoyama. The anime follows the story of sleep deprived Ko yamori who wanders in the streets at night and eventually encounters a vampire named Nazuna Nanakusa who shows the joy of being a nightwalker. Upon release the show got favourable response for executing the beauty of neon lighted city nights, syncing with the perfect music and fun characters. Each scene is visually stunning, worthy to keep a screenshot and it would be a crime if the dynamic story is not mentioned here. The show also got high scores in different sites.

As for the second season of Call of The Night, there is no official statement yet. No trailers or key visuals have been revealed either. But with the high demand, it is expected to get news soon from Liden Films.

Call of the Night Season 2 Manga- Where To Start?

Fortunately, there are enough source material left for adapting a new season for call of the night. Till now episode 13 has covered the story from chapter 46 of volume 5. And the manga has published total 13 Tankoban volumes till now. So, fans don’t have to worry about source materials. As a matter of fact, the release of the anime has increased the sale of manga at a considerable rate, making it on the Oricon’s Top 20 list for July. Which earns an extra point in favour of a new season. Given the possibility that Liden films will be in charge of second season of Call of The Night, it may take a while as the studio has already projects like Tokyo Revengers season 2, The Legendary Hero is Dead, Rurouni Kenshin scheduled for the following year.

Wracked by insomnia and wanderlust, Ko Yamori is driven onto the moonlit streets every night in an aimless search for something he can’t seem to name.
