On May 29, 2023, a spinoff manga of Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse was announced on Twitter. The title of the spinoff manga is ‘Spider-Man: Octopus Girl.’ The renowned authors of My Hero Academia Vigilantes, Hideyuki Furuhashi and Betten Court, are working on this project.
As the title suggests, the manga will narrate the story of Dr. Otto Octavius, AKA Dr. Octopus, who falls into a coma and finds his consciousness transferred into the body of a Japanese junior high school girl. Fans are expecting to experience a new side of Dr. Octopus with this hilarious incident.
